NYAS VENUE CARETAKER
An important role at all of our NYAS locations is the NYAS Caretaker.
As Caretaker you will be responsible for hosting classes, courses and workshops. You will arrive before the tutor and participants and ensure the room(s) are set up ready for the event.
You will support the tutor in setting up the venue then greet participants and ensure they find their way to the appropriate classroom.
You will be responsible for ensuring everyone is safe, understanding your venue's site specific Health & Safety requirements and passing this information onto tutors and participants.
You will work with caterers to accept delivery of lunches and ensure this is set up for everyone attending the event and ensure refreshments are available throughout the day.
The most important part of the role is that you will be the local face of NYAS and act as an ambassador for the NYAS brand ensuring everyone from tutor to participants is supported throughout the day.
This is a part time, self-employed role; however we will be looking to make this a more permanent position in venues we are able to grow.
