About Us
Situated in South Cliff Scarborough, NYAS offers back-to-basics painting, drawing and printmaking classes at affordable prices.
Whatever your skill level, you will be made to feel welcome and involved.
Our History
The school opened in January 2020, just before government forced businesses to close due to Covid-19.
Intermittent lockdowns followed but, whenever possible, the doors have been open and people have come in to draw and paint. Skip forward to Spring 2022 and things are going very well!
There have been 80 new faces this year and it's great to see people returning week after week.
Three Works
Three Works is a contemporary art space and sister project of NYAS situated on South Street Scarborough.
Three Works originally opened in Weymouth in May 2015 and relocated to Scarborough in May 2018. Since opening, over 50 exhibitions have taken place.
South Street is the permanent home for Three Works, however we will be looking to take Three Works to new locations in the near future.
